publication updates

I just wanted to write to give you some updates about the publication. Last we spoke, I was waiting on the CCA's approval of my final report, which I am happy to say, was recently approved. My further application for separate funding for the publication has also been forwarded into the pool of eligible proposals, so for the time being, things are looking good and it is not necessary to engage FCG for additional funding support. However, I won't know the outcome of the application until August.

In our last conversation, we had also spoken about FCG supporting the publication as a co-publisher with Art Met, and I wanted to confirm that you / the gallery is still interested. I think it is a great idea, and would love to continue the relationship with the gallery in the publication. 

So I am writing with two specific requests here. First, to confirm that FCG is still on board for co-publishing. I want to set up a meeting shortly between FCG, Art Met and Lauren to just bring everyone into the same conversation but I don't want to jump the gun and presume FCG's involvement without your express consent.

Optimistically, in the case that you are on board, I would also like to formally invite you to write an introduction to the publication of maybe 1500-2000 words (Lauren, do you think this is too long?). I would hope to receive a draft towards the end of July for this, if that seems to be a realistic timeline for you.
