I hope you are doing well. I am writing because my project with FCG has hit a few roadblocks, and we still haven't found a suitable employee. While we had planned to hire someone locally in London, that fell through (twice!).

Myself, Matt and Teresa were all really impressed by your knowledge and engagement during the interview. I know it's a few months later than expected, but as my top choice for the position, would you still consider taking the job? 

As stated in the call, the position is up to 20 hr / week and pays $21 / hour. You would be working closely with myself and Teresa to research and write grants for FCG. If you accept, we can make the project work by meeting remotely for the time being, and when the situation around covid changes, then we can figure out a way to fulfill the 'performance' aspect of the project.

I would really like to work with you, so I hope you might say yes!

It makes sense that you need a bit of time. Please do let me know what you decide when you have an answer about the other job. I do very much hope that you will choose in favour of my project, but ultimately, you need to decide what is best for you.
