Updates / check-in

I hope you are well. Are you in Upstate NY now? I can’t remember… I hope that the writing residency is nice and not too smoky?!?

I just submitted a round of applications and am ready to pull my head out of the sand and survey the outside world, including our work together.

I wish that I had some exciting updates, but little has changed.

I started a very loose document with some questions for Denise. I hope that you will add to this. 

I believe that Bopha and Michelle’s texts are progressing. I think it would make sense perhaps to set an updated deadline for both of them, and will send emails to make that happen.

I am feeling at a loss with █████████’s text. I have tried many times in the comments to “steer,” with limited results. I am wondering at what point we just ghost write? Would you be able to take a look at it and update comments or somehow reinforce what is necessary?

I got back from New York yesterday morning. The residency went very well, but I’m glad to be home and able to switch/expand my focus to other things now.

I will take time with ███’s text and the questions for Denise later this week, then update you.

The OdP books came while I was away and they look fantastic! I love the dust jacket! Really proud to have been a part of that project.
