Something to discuss about Dana's text

Hi there,

The mention of Valu Co-op in Bopha’s text reminded me that is was also mentioned in Dana’s text, but that there had been some kind of evolution in the organisations structure recently. I think the mention in B’s text is fine to leave as is, but does D’s need an editors note to address the evolution (I’m pasted her text below). Also, what exactly is the change that VC has made? I’m finding the website text a bit difficult to get a handle on.

.” In Canada, Vancouver’s worker-owned print shop VALU CO-OP formed the Arts and Cultural Workers Union (ACWU) in January 2020, officially affiliating with the International Alliance of Stage and Theatrical Employees the following month. ACWU organizes many kinds of cultural workers, building solidarity among artists, freelancers, and non-profit staff across British Columbia.[1]

Bopha mentioned that she had spoken to them in preparation for her text for us. It might help to address this question directly to her as an aside from her text, since she will know.
