Hi Josh,

I have actually heard of your project some time ago and forgotten that I did hear about it. I find this is a very interesting project. Thank you for sending this to me.

I do have a few people in mind, two in particular who might be very interesting. Not sure if you know them, their names are ██████ ███ █████ and ███████ ██████, ████ ████ ██ ██████████████████ ████ ███ ████ ████ ████ ███████████ █████

Another name would be ███████ ███████████ ███ ██ █ ████ █████ ██████ ██████ ██ ███████████ ███ ███ █ ████ ███████████ ███████████ █ █████ ███ █████ ██ ███████ ██ ███ █████ ██ ████ ██ ████ ██ ████████

█████ ████████ might be of interest.

I can think of a few others, but what I can do is also circulate the text you sent me to some of the people who I know in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Hamilton areas if that is ok?

All the best

I acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional territory of ‎the Attawandaron (also known as Neutral), Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples that is still under colonial rule. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. This land was never delivered and today only 4.8% of it is Indigenous. Until Indigenous peoples who live in this territory, on the Turtle Island, and elsewhere regain their sovereignty, self-government, and control over all their ancestral territories, and until restitution is paid we are all participating in, and benefitting from colonial violence.

Dear Bojana,
Thank you so much for your reply and for your positive engagement with my project. I so appreciate your recommendations.
The timing is a bit tight, since we are hoping to receive expressions of interest by this Monday, so it would be of great help if you could reach out to these people, or put us in contact by way of joint emails. If they are available and interested, a simple email of introduction and a cv would be sufficient on their part.
Thank you again, and I hope that once I can travel again we might have a chance to meet sometime.
Best,
Josh
