Dear Dana,
How are your travels going - have you landed in LA yet? I hope you have had a bit of restful summer times, though I imagine it has been a whirlwind of activity.
I'm reaching out with two new details for you to keep in mind as you work on your text.
First, the excellent news that The Employee book has received a CCA grant we were counting on, and so we are moving full steam ahead with our designers House9, with the goal of publishing in early 2023.
This means that I can confirm that we will be able to include colour images illustrating each essay, and I am reaching out to ask if you would like to propose 3-5 images to accompany your text. Ideally these images would either be in the public domain or with a clear owner, to ease our rights & reproduction research and budget.
My second order of business is regarding citations. Art Metropole has confirmed that they prefer Chicago, so we will be adopting a simplified version of that: each essay will have endnotes for its citations (no in-line) and notes.
