Redaction style

Hey Josh, 

For the visual, Max is asking if you prefer full solid lines or word by word:

The issue is that to fill the spaces, we need to do some extra stuff (which we'll do if necessary), but if you like this format we can leave it as is :) If you're unsure, we can always deliver this format first and you can decide. We can turn the spaces into solid lines later without you having to do anything further.

I slightly prefer solid lines, but I also think that this is a design decision as well. Aside from convenience, what is your sense?

I think I'm pretty agnostic here. I was envisioning solid lines too but when Max showed me this version, I thought heyyy there's something interesting happening here visually, and I've never seen a word for word redaction before. Maybe we can keep it for now and as you're redacting, we can see how it looks, especially on long text. Maybe it'll make a cool visual or just look dizzying with all the black shapes and white spaces. 

What do you think?
