Re: Redaction style

Here's the beta version of the redaction system: 

The system gives you the option to navigate through all the emails you've sent us, redact them and also update the email addresses.

When you're logged in, you'll see all the emails (grouped by threads):

When you have time, could you navigate through the system and test it, to see if there's issues, requests and such.

I have been tootling around trying things out with the redactions.

It is pretty self-explanatory, and very easy, so thank you so much for that!

I do have a few additional needs, that I will just note below. If you want to meet to explain things more clearly, I am quite available and happy to do so. 

But I will list these to start:

1. The "name" field. Right now it is possible to edit what the name is, but it is not possible to leave it blank or to fill it with a redaction. For instance, in the group emails that have a lot of people addressed, I don't want to publish peoples' names, but I also don't want to replace them with anonymous "made up" labels. In the pdf version I was also able to replace peoples' names with black redactions, which I can't do in the field as it is. Would this be possible?

2. I need to be able to redact the file names of attachments (some contain peoples' names)

3. Is there a way to edit the tags - add more, etc?

4. Is it possible to add a "next" button so that after I finish editing an email thread I can continue directly to the next thread without returning to the main page?

How are things? A couple responses, and also Max is on a couple pretty hard deadlines for the next few weeks, so I'd prefer he focus there and return to this in a few weeks. 

In the meantime, what else do you need? It'd be great to know the full list so Max can tackle everything in one batch.

3. From our conversation, I thought we'd only have those 3 tags (Starred, Funders, Public). Am I mistaken? If more tags, how many would each thread have? Just need to make sure the design can accommodate.

4. I'll check w/ Max how complicated this is to do soonish. Mainly I don't want to derail him from the other projects on this docket, and I'm putting a lot of pressure on him 😬 to get those done

I was worried I came across a bit short. Yesterday was....an irritating day, so today I was in "let's get on track" mode... which meant I wrote a bunch of emails fast, and yours was maybe the most "just the facts ma'am" because you're my friend.
