Hi Josh,

Have you received any more applications?

Hi Teresa,
Thanks for checking. I haven’t received anything else yet... I hope something else comes before the 2nd.
█████████ wrote to me last night, and I will forward it to you. At least we can know that we didn’t do anything wrong.
I wrote a reply, ███ █ █████ █████ █ ██████ ████ ███

best and warm greetings,
Josh

Hi Josh,

I have good news! ████ ████████, ██████████ ████ ████████ ███ █████████ ████████████, is interested in the position. █████ █████████ ███ ███ ██ ███████ ███ ██ ████ ██████ ███ ████████ ███████ █████████ ███████ █████. She was interested in the position when it was first posted, but thought she'd be away ██ █ █████████ ███ ████ ██ ████ ████, but not surprisingly it was cancelled so she'll now be London. █ █████ ████ ████ ███ █ ████ ███ ███████ ███ ██ ██ ██████████ ██████████ ██████, so that's promising, and her experience seems to be quite fitting.

I've only just connected with her, so I requested that she send me her materials—a brief statement, nothing too formal needed, and her CV—as soon as possible, but not to worry too much about the August 2nd deadline since it's already August 1st today. Since we're not asking for too much I anticipate receiving these materials soon. I've given her your contact details and they're obviously in the call too, but if she sends the materials just to me since we've been corresponding I'll forward to you as soon as I receive them.

I have a good feeling about this one!
My best,

Teresa Carlesimo (she/her)

hey Teresa,
that is very promising!
I really appreciate this, and hope very much that it works out. I also agree that the August 2 deadline is not in any way imperative to be met.
