Vital Signs: Be the Change
Over the past two years, the social atmospheres in our community have shifted dramatically. Be it COVID-19 perpetuating issues like unemployment and the lack of affordable housing, hyper-visual acts of racial violence, or the discovery of thousands of unmarked graves at former residential school sites across the country – tides are shifting, and people are becoming ever-increasingly engaged.

We all play a role in making change happen. The time for action is now.

Creating awareness of our community’s most pressing issues, LCF's Vital Signs report acts as a check-up on the community, allowing the Foundation to connect philanthropy with the needs of London and Middlesex County.

This year, Vital Signs aims to help guide changemaking by giving Londoners a place to start. Join us on October 14 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for the launch of Be the Change 2021, featuring a moderated panel discussion on how together, we can create a more just and equitable community.

Panelists include:

Mojdeh Cox - Executive Director, Pillar Nonprofit Network
Dr. Mike Moffat - Assistant Professor, Business, Economics and Public Policy, Western University
Nawaz Tahir - Chair, Hikma Public Affairs Council
