Teresa,

I've just been told by the helpful Canada Council person that, in fact, some of the grants and their accompanying deadlines were not visible to me because I have yet to be linked to the Gallery's organization profile.

This link can only be initiated by you, apparently, because you're the administrator.

It's important (the person says) to identify me by this email address in the link invitation.

(She also mentioned that you can choose how much access I get.)

I hope this helps.

Hi █████

You have been submitted for validation. It can take 15 business days for this process to be completed but in my experience, it's much faster than that. You should be receiving an email anytime now.

My best,

Teresa,

That's great. Thank you.

I'm making inquiries as we speak, but I certainly would be glad to hear what you learn from your program person, if and when you've consulted with them.

(I have managed to learn that the mysterious "fall 2022" deadline actually refers the core funding that the gallery is receiving currently.)

Thanks again,

█████

Hi █████

I think there's been a miscommunication—what do you mean "what we learn from our program person"? The only question I have for our grant-officers is if we can indeed request an increase while we're in the middle of a multi-year program. Is there something else you're waiting to learn? I just want to make sure we're on the same page.

My best,

Teresa,

Oh, gosh. Me too! (Especially if being on the same page also entails not unnecessarily duplicating the same tasks.)

For what they're worth, my notes from Tuesday's meeting read

Teresa will contact CCA program advisor to ask if FCG is currently eligible for an increase;
if that request can be integrated into the report;
and
what is needed beyond CADAC and financial statements."

If that first item was your 'only question' to the Canada Council, and I mis-noted I'm only too happy to follow up on the other two things. They'll need doing anyway.

And thank you for getting back to me to clarify.

Hi █████,

Items 2 and 3 are part of item one, they're not separate in my view. When I speak to the grant-officer you'll be the first to know.

Teresa,

That makes sense.

Thanks,
