Hello ██████,

I am writing regarding the London Community Grants Program. It is mentioned on the website that the application process for the 2022 Innovation and Capital Stream will open in the Fall of 2021, but I was wondering if you had any idea of when that would be?

I am planning to apply for various grants simultaneously, so that information would be very helpful.

Thank you so much!

Best,

Camille-Zoé Valcourt-Synnott (she/her) — Fundraiser/Grantwriter

Hello Camille,

I don’t know a definite dates as yet but it appears that we may not be opening the 2022 process until Council passes budget Feb. 2022.  I should have this confirmed and the website updated this week.

Thank-you,

Hello ██████,

Thank you for your answer. I was wondering what is the usual waiting time to get the grant results? For example, if we were to apply in March 2022, when could we potentially start our project? And what is the usual delay before the funds are released?

Thank you!

Best,

Hello Camille,

The application process is usually open for 4 weeks and then the review and decision process is usually finalized by June.

Once successful applicants receive their grant agreements (July) and once this is returned signed, the Innovation funds are allocated.  The funds are for a 12 month period dated as per the date of the agreement.

I hope this helps.
