dear Lauren,
thanks so much for joining yesterday, it was a really good way to create a simulated public-facing conversation, which also created a way to unpack a lot of things that michelle and I have an assumed shared understanding of. Also I realized that your podcasting expertise was perfect for the interview tone! I was having a moment, so thank you for being part of such a rich conversation.
I am also extremely happy we will have this content in the publication. I think it is so important to our publication to have this kind of testimonial position to speak to the situation on the ground from the people working in, or having worked in artist-run culture.
I sent the files by wetransfer just now. They are rough, and the sound of my voice is awful, not just in a dysphoric way, but like for some reason it's really echo-ey. So probably it won't be recognizable by the transcription software, but so long as it gets what michelle says then we are good to go.
let me know when a good time for a check-in would be. Nothing urgent at all, just in case you want to take stock of the state of things... did I hear correctly that you have a contact for Eunice now?

Hi Josh,
It was my pleasure! I was also marvelling at how important the conversation was throughout. It's an essential addition to the book.
Here is the raw transcription of the 4 audio files. It's relatively good quality, I think.
Yes, Eunice sent her email address, so I will send her the invite in the coming days. Exciting!
Let’s touch base next week about if a meeting is necessary. We might want to wait till the week after to discuss things that unfold next week.

hi Lauren,
that sounds great. I am glad you corroborate this sense of the essential nature of this position to the overall project.
I was already doing some tidying of the transcript, which is miraculously accurate, aside from a few funny substitutions (artist-run centre and milieu do not track). I just tracked changes, and took out the ums and sort ofs to be better able to find the parts that were exciting.
I got through 1 of 4, and if it's ok with you, I can finish that before you go through it and highlight the sections that you found important. It's hard to choose! I will let you know when it is ready.
thumbs up!
