Re: █████████ text

Hi Josh,

I’ve finally been able to do a thorough read of █████ text. It is a good essay in quite a classically art historical style, which is a welcome addition to the collection. The historical examples, as well as the discussions of your past work contribute a lot to contextualising The EmployeeMy broader thoughts on his arguments mirrored yours, as I saw you express them in your notes, and I think that we can call this an excellent first draft.

(Calling fund-raising a “begging protocol” made me laugh. I’m collecting all the different ways that people refer to fundraising in these essays, and might include them in mine somehow.)

To progress, I think that you should share your notes with ███. He and I have not been in conversation, and as I don’t have anything substantive to add, it would be best to do this round between the two of you. Ideally he will come back with a new draft that addresses some of your notes, at which point I can enter and so a full edit to bring the language into English conformity. (I don’t want to do this yet, in case he does substantial re-writing).

How does that sound to you?

Hi Lauren,
Good to hear from you, thank you for reading over the text, and for corroborating my notes.
I can absolutely follow up with █████████ with this go-ahead.
I will do this later today.
I look forward to meeting Thursday to discuss further.
I hope your health is improving!
