Since 2020 I have been working on a long term artwork reflecting on the substructural work of grant-writing relative to artistic practice. The project, entitled The Employee, is funded by the Canada Council for the Arts. For the purposes of the work, I hired a grant-writer, Camille-Zoé Valcourt-Synnott, to write grants on behalf of the Forest City Gallery. These grants were both the fulfillment of an artistic work, and a sincere contribution to the operations of the gallery.
This is where you come in. My employee was in contact with you over the course of the project. I am now in the process of archiving the work, which will, in part, take the form of an online archive of emails sent over the course of the project. This includes an email that you sent. I have appended the email in question below. I have redacted email addresses, but if there is any further redaction required, please let me know. This archive is massive, and contains over 3000 individual emails. While I have isolated the emails that concern you particularly, I want to add this caveat so you don't feel singled out or put on the spot.
