dear Teresa,
I hope all is well with you.
I am writing to update you on a few things regarding the publication.

1) As you may have noticed, I am still in the process of structuring and editing my text. The version you looked at earlier has already shifted significantly, and will likely continue to do so in the coming weeks. I realized that it needs to be oriented more specifically around the project, so I have cut a lot of the material that was more general or more directed to the canada council. I will continue to edit the document with the intention to make it shorter, and to avoid dispersing the readers' attention. It is difficult to cover such a massive project, yet also keep things focused, but I hope that the final version will no longer give you cause for concern.

2) I am almost finished organizing the email archive. As we discussed in the summer, I have tried to redact more sensitive information. I think that I have accomplished this, but would like for you to sign off on this to avoid putting you in an awkward position. In this regard, neither █████████ nor █████ responded to my request for permission. In the archive I have retained the content of their emails, but redacted their names, so they are completely anonymous. Let me know your thoughts on this.
I am sharing the folders that include emails between us, matt, and camille, and between you and camille. This is the entirety of the archive that includes contributions by you. Folders marked with an orange tag contain material that I redacted for sensitivity purposes, and that you might want to look over more carefully, to see if you agree or want to have more content removed.
I am also sharing the folder with the application process, even though you aren't personally in this correspondence. I have anonymized the applicants, and our deliberations, as well as removed any discussion of qualities or opinions about applications. Let me know if any of what remains continues sets off alarms, and I can redact further, as you wish. It is easy for me to redact content, and I would prefer to be respectful than to cause unintentional problems.

3) do you have any updates, questions, or concerns about your introduction? Do you have a sense of when a draft will be ready? We will be submitting a completed first draft of all material to the designers by mid-December, and to be able to edit everything in time, need drafts of material by mid-November, does this deadline feel realistic to you?

warm wishes, and hope to hear from you soon,
Josh
