Hello Lauren and Josh,

I've put together a list of possible images to be included with my text. Except in a specific instance, I tried to move away from The Employee documentation and focused instead on other points discussed in the essay. Let me know what you think of the approach.

I'd love to include at least one image from N.E. Thing Co. Environment, but I had difficulty locating archived documentation of the show. The NGO archives should have documentation, but images are not accessible online.

I included a few graphs from existing reports... but the designers might want to produce their own using and referencing the data?

I also reference a project by Kelly Mark and two of Josh's earlier projects, sowe could include documentation of those as well.

I'm halfway done reformatting the text in Chicago style and should be able to send you the formatted version next week.

Have a good weekend!
Mariane

Dear Mariane,

Thank you for all this diligent and valuable work!

I’ve responded to specific points below.

Warmly,

Lauren

This make good sense to me as the other essays will be better served by documentation of the work. That IAU demonstration image is terrific!

I will contact NGC and the CCCA and keep you updated on what is available.

These three graphics are pretty powerful taken all together! But if we could only include one, is 3.2.3.1a the most relevant/punchy?

I’m inclined to use the Stats Can graphic rather than have a new graphic made, but will look into what that involves.

I think an image of the Kelly Mark letter could be a great inclusion and an image of Subsidy would also be good.

That’s wonderful. I forgot to mention that this would be a good time to shift over to a word document, if you are able.

Hello Lauren,

Great! I'm glad that you agree with these suggestions. So let's proceed as you've outlined in your response. The only point I'd like to clarify is the provenance of the graphics. See below:

These three graphics are pretty powerful taken all together! But if we could only include one, is 3.2.3.1a the most relevant/punchy? Yes, I agree.

I’m inclined to use the Stats Can graphic rather than have a new graphic made, but will look into what that involves. Either is fine, but just to clarify, these are taken from the 2019 Labour Market Information Study of the Cultural Labour Force produced by the Cultural Human Resources Council using Stats Canada data. So if you are using the existing graphic, you'll need to get their permission.

I have already switched over to a Word doc for the reformatting. I'm doing footnotes right now, and wasn't sure about the bibliography. Do you need that as well?

Thanks,
Mariane
