dear Alex,
I hope this email finds you well.
As I am sure you recall, I worked with FCG on The Employee project from 2020-2021. I am currently in the process of publishing the outcomes and archives of the work.
I am writing to ask your permission to reproduce the emails that were exchanged between us and between yourself and Camille during the project, which I hope to include in the project documentation. I am in the process of requesting consent from other board members and committee members as well. This material will be published online on a website dedicated to archiving the project.

The project as a whole became about making overwork and burnout within the arts visible. These issues are not clearly articulated in single events, but accumulate over small increments.
I want to publish an archive of the email correspondence generated by the project as completely as possible as a way to show the quantity of work involved in the project, and also the intersection of work with personal life, which was more prevalent  than ever during the pandemic.

I have attached the exact documents I wish to reproduce to this email. I do not intend to publish anything other than what is included below. Please read these over and let me know if you would consent to allow me to use these documents. If you do not consent, or want anything else removed, please let me know as well. I want to respect your wishes. I would greatly appreciate it if I could hear back from you by next week, and will keep in touch to let you know when the project is published.
warm wishes,
Joshua Schwebel

Hi Josh,

Thank you for your email. It's so fascinating to look back on these messages, particularly in the context of overwork and burnout. I have no issue with these emails being used, however, I do ask that you ensure Teresa provides consent for the emails about her dad being included. It's not my story to tell or approve.

Hope all is well where you are. Looking forward to the published piece.

Alex

dear Alex,
thanks so much for giving consent. I have spoken with Teresa about this plan, and will also show her all of the emails for her consent before anything is published. This is a very slow process, because there is just such a huge quantity of material to work through, but we hope to have the publication and website ready by late winter 2023. I will let you know when it is out in the world.
thanks again, and take care,
Josh
