The Employee & H9 Meeting Notes: September 1, 2022

Hi Josh!

So great to chat today! Here's the screenshot of you looking particularly handsome when Zoom froze:

What we discussed:

• CCA budget has come through!

• New budget: 20K for full project (tax in, incl all production)

• Book: print budget max 7K (tax in)

• Book design + website design and build: 13K (tax in)

• Redaction going well. Josh might pay someone to download remaining emails and complete redaction. If Farah thinks of something/something…

• Bulk email download app?

• Quick content map

• We’ll expand this as we work on the website, in particular

• Book: 

• Using QR codes in the book to bring you to the website (specific conversations): emails, conversations, etc.

• Would it be possible to connect an app to the publication via QR code (to download the app). Then, photos in the book will trigger videos to play in the app. The app exists, Josh will find out what it is!

• Transcribed conversation in book

• How can we reference things that are being discussed?

• How can we map the timeline of this conversation to reference the email conversation timeline on the website?

• Website

• All applicants are “Applicant 1” (ie, not named) etc.

• Josh is OK with uniformity among pieces (eg, putting everything in black/white)

• Maybe we keep photos in colour?

Next steps:

• Josh: send a few email conversations exported so far

• H9: start thinking about the website design

• As a reminder, Jan 2023 is still our deadline to receive content :)
