Dear Marina,

Thanks so much for our conversation on Saturday. I will re-send you the document (probably tomorrow) with labeled notes and questions for you to look at, as we discussed. 

In the meantime, I forgot to ask if you feel comfortable giving permission for me to share your essay with a new contributor to the book. Dana Kopel is a writer, editor, and union organizer. She is the former senior editor and publications coordinator at the New Museum, where she helped organize the New Museum Union-UAW Local 2110. Her writing appears in publications such as The Nation, The Baffler, Frieze, Flash Art, Art in America, and SSENSE. In the fall she will begin a PhD in Labour History at UCLA.

I am hoping to get your permission to share your text with Dana, as she has quite a tight deadline and we are trying to give her as many resources as possible to jump start her text. Your essay is so essential to the context, I know it will be invaluable.

As promised, I have gone back through the text to make it a smoother editing experience for you. 


You will see:
- Line-edit suggestions I have made
- Suggested re-wordings I have made after our meeting
- Requests for citation information (we will use Chicago style, but as long as I have all the info from you I can format these)
- Areas that you suggested you would like to expand on a bit (i.e. the NFT/crypto question Josh raises in the comments at the bottom of page 3)

I hope this makes the process of a last look quite quick. Thank you again for all your time and generosity with this text.
