Meeting recap

Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com> To: Camille-Zoé Valcourt-Synnott <██████████████████ >, Director - Forest City Gallery <director@forestcitygallery.com>

Dear Teresa and Camille,
It was so nice to see you both and to speak about the project with you.
I just wanted to send this recap as promised.

1. We went over the project overview spreadsheet and filled in some of the blanks.
2. We spoke about my ideas for organizing the publication (and challenges). On this note, I just wanted to tell you who the three writers are who I have invited to reflect on the project:
I am very excited about the perspectives they will bring to the project, and will share their texts when they are available.
3. We began a collective narration of the project’s timeline and got as far as the end of December. We will resume this conversation at our next meeting, which is scheduled to take place on Feb. 16 at 10am Toronto time. I will work on transcribing this over the next month.
In the meantime here are the deliverables we discussed:
-I hope to speak with a CCA officer (I sent an email to the officer yesterday).
-I will also contact Jonathan at Art Met and update him on the current situation. He may have suggestions for potential funding opportunities.
-Teresa will upload the needed letters of response from the funding applications that we submitted
-I added a tab to the spreadsheet for gallery programming / covid closures that needs to be populated
-Teresa will assemble and upload photos of the various locations that FCG viewed for possible relocation
-the spreadsheet tab for the gallery move needs to be filled in with more detail
-Teresa will track down the following emails: “concerns” emails from CCA, email of lack of concern from landlord following break-in, reply from Western Fair about Arts building inquiry
-Teresa will speak with the board about the possibility of applying for (OAC) funding to support the publication. The more I think about this the more sense it makes for FCG to partner on the publication, as then the publication could also include an introduction to the project written by Teresa.
If there is anything I am forgetting, please let me know, otherwise we will resume the project recollection on Feb. 16.
Looking forward to this very much!
Warmly,
Josh
